As a researcher with the Health Affairs Institute, Tyler performs complex data collection techniques to support project development and implementation. Working alongside the Department of Justice, the West Virginia Departments of Health, Health Facilities, and Human Services, OMIS, Keymind, and SMED, Tyler helps develop a database management system that meets the state’s monitoring and reporting needs. Through the development of original solutions, his work will aid in comprehensively expanding and improving children’s mental health services and support in the state.
Prior to joining the team at the Health Affairs, Tyler worked in life science and healthcare as an account manager and researcher. These roles provided not only direct experience with the required duties but also ancillary immersion in client relations, contract lifecycles, and budgeting.
