Health Information Services

Through strategic planning, security risk assessments, and independent verification and validation, we enable efforts to improve healthcare delivery, medical databases, and overall quality and efficiency.

High quality health data is vital to assessing the well-being of an individual—or a community.

Data-driven decision making is a critical component to assuring public health essential service delivery and meeting the health needs of populations. To support our partners ability to make data-driven decisions, the Health Affairs Institute engages in health information services program development and evaluation. We have helped state agencies assess the effectiveness of integrated IT systems and database standardization. Health Affairs offers independent verification and validation (IV&V) services that comply with federal standards.
