Josh is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) who has served as a Project Manager with the WVU Health Affairs Institute since 2021. In this role, Josh continues to lead collaborative, data-driven projects that inform decisions and improve health outcomes for West Virginians. Josh’s work includes serving as the Project Manager for the Children’s Mental Health Evaluation Project, where he coordinates cross-functional teams, manages project lifecycles, and supports the Institute’s mission to deliver actionable insights to state partners and community stakeholders.
With a background in law, finance, and strategic leadership, Josh brings a multidisciplinary perspective to all projects he’s involved in. His approach emphasizes structured planning, stakeholder engagement, and a commitment to advancing data-informed solutions that serve children and families across West Virginia.
Before joining HAI, Josh worked as an Accounting Specialist for a West Virginia law firm, where he gained experience in identifying and mitigating financial risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic business decisions. This experience provided a strong foundation in financial oversight, operational leadership, and issue management—skills that continue to inform Josh’s work as a project manager.
