In his role at the Health Affairs Institute, Anthony primarily supports the work of a youth mental and behavioral health evaluation to study the needs of the behavioral health landscape in West Virginia. He strives for systematic change within the fields of mental and behavioral health through gathering information and reporting to better the health of those within Appalachia. Anthony works in other research spaces such as homelessness, opioid use disorder, and policy analysis throughout Appalachia.

Anthony’s strongest assets lie in qualitative research and analysis within projects of Program Evaluation and Development. He has also assisted in focus groups and interviews, and programmed surveys to be administered to participants. Anthony has qualitative software experience in Atlas.ti, NVivo, and MAXQDA. He also has survey research experience using REDCap and Qualtrics.  

Anthony has previously worked in market research within the pharmaceutical industry. He analyzed qualitative data to provide clients with insights in language patterns, brand positioning, concept testing, and evaluation. Anthony also reported strategic insights and suggested branding opportunity for companies to use to better market towards their consumers.
