Abby serves as a Program Manager at the Health Affairs Institute. Starting at Health Affairs in February 2022 as Program Coordinator, Abby has assisted with logistics surrounding survey implementation,  including vendor communications and registration, incentive management, and data management. Moving into the Program Manager position in September 2023, Abby manages teams at HAI conducting research in the areas of behavioral health, population health, and public health surveillance, utilizing data collection tools including surveys and qualitative interviews. Abby is responsible for managing and coordinating day to day project productivity and task assignments, working with project leadership to ensure successful project execution, and serving as the primary point of contact.  

Abby uses her excellent communication and organizational skills to help meet project deadlines and complete behind the scenes coordination that allow researchers to complete high quality, meaningful work centering opioid use disorder and Medicaid beneficiaries in the state of West Virginia. Since joining Health Affairs, Abby has developed a deep interest in behavioral health and works to find new ways to improve her skills and learn more about the field.   

Prior to joining Health Affairs, Abby worked in state government, business operations, and higher education. These previous experiences all assist in her current work at Health Affairs within the areas of survey research, program management, public impact research, and health data analytics.
